Faculty
Nadim Habib
Master's and bachelor's degrees in Economics from the London School of Economics (1991 and 1989 respectively).

He is a born communicator and international consultant in strategy, innovation, and creativity, and is a frequent guest speaker.

He teaches in master's and executive education programs, helping leaders to develop agile and innovative strategies to face contemporary challenges.

He was CEO of Nova SBE Executive Education and Angola Business School. Before joining Nova SBE, he held management positions in several multinational companies in England, Belgium, and Portugal.
Miguel Pina e Cunha
PhD in Marketing from Tilburg University (1998).

He is a researcher, full professor, President of the Scientific Council, coordinator of the academic area of Leadership and Organizational Behaviour, and member of the Board of Nova SBE's Leadership Knowledge Center.

He has held management positions in several multinational companies. 
Filipa Castanheira
PhD in Social Psychology (2009), a Master's degree in Psychology - Stress and well-being (2005), and a degree in Organizational Psychology (2001) from the University of Lisbon.

She is an Associate Professor (with aggregation) at Nova SBE and Academic Director of the Postgraduate Degree in Applied Management and the Executive Master's Degree in Leadership.

She is also the Coordinator of the Doctoral School at Universidade Nova de Lisboa and an executive member of the Academic Council for Executive Training.
Hugo Lourenço
He has an MBA from Universidade Nova de Lisboa (2008). He is the founder of Experience Agile®, DevOps Forum, Agile Human Factors®, World Agility Forum® and Agile Thinkers Academy®.

He is the author of several articles on agility and innovation and works as a consultant and trainer for global companies. He is also a Registered Scrum Trainer and Accredited Kanban Consultant (AKC).

He is a guest lecturer at several international business schools, with a presence in the North American and European markets.
Duarte Pitta Ferraz
He holds a PhD in Business Administration from the Nottingham Business School (2012), an Aggregate Degree in Political Science from the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences of the University of Lisbon (2021), and a degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (1980).

He is a Guest Speaker / Professor of Governance and Banking in Executive Training at NOVA School of Business and Economics, Managing Partner at IVENS. He is also a Senior Independent Director, Chartered Accountant and Lawyer.

He has scientific publications in international journals and the “Manual of Corporate Governance - Theory and Practice for Scholars, Executive and non-Executive Directors” (Duarte Pitta Ferraz & Manish Adhikari).
Nuno Moreira
Holds a degree in Business Management from the Catholic University of Lisbon. He is a Guest Executive at Nova SBE.

He is the co-founder and Board Member of the Fullsix Group in Portugal, a leading digital agency in the country, and also the author of immersive theatre plays, where he fully embraces his passion for storytelling.

He began his career in consulting at ESFI – Strategy and Finance, after which he joined Unilever Portugal as a Brand Manager, later spending a year in Sales.

He teaches in the fields of Marketing and Digital.
Leid Zejnilovic
PhD in Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Technological Change from Carnegie Mellon University / Catholic University of Portugal (2014). He has international experience in technology consulting and management, having co-founded several high-tech companies and online platforms.

He is also co-founder of the Data Science for Social Good Foundation and associate editor of the Data & Policy Journal. As an academic entrepreneur, he co-founded two knowledge centers at Nova SBE, the Data Science Knowledge Center and the Open and User Innovation Knowledge Center, where he serves as Academic Director and Deputy Scientific Director, respectively.
Lénia Mestrinho
She holds a Master's degree in Management from Universidade Católica Portuguesa (2011), a degree in Economics from Nova SBE, and an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Data Protection Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (CIPD).

She is the Executive Director of the Data Science for Social Good Research Group at Nova SBE, where she is also a Visiting Assistant Professor on the Master's Degree in Business Analytics.

Her experience includes various projects in the areas of Data and Technology.
Antonio Marinho Torres
He holds a PhD in Marketing from the University of Manchester (2005), an MBA from INSEAD (1998) and a degree in Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1992), Brazil.

He is a Professor at Nova SBE and works as a consultant in the areas of marketing and business development. He has 25 years' experience in marketing and management of leading companies in the areas of consumer goods (Unilever and Mondelez) and technology (Nokia and Vista).

He is the author of the book “Blockbuster vs. Scattershot: A Contingent Relationship between Product Line Length Strategy and Performance in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Industry” and several articles on leadership and strategic management.
João Silveira Lobo
He has an MBA from INSEAD (1992). He is currently Managing Partner & Owner, Non-Executive Director of the Almedina Group, and an independent management consultant. He is a regular contributor to COTEC (a Portuguese private innovation agency).

His career has been distinguished at both senior management and board level, having served as an Executive and Non-Executive Director in sectors such as Banking, FMCG, Retail, Telecommunications, Industry, Media, Tourism, and Private Equity.

He has been responsible for coordinating strategic planning, from macro analysis to the development of initiatives in various companies, including Sonae, the market leader in retail in Portugal, and advises companies on their strategic planning exercises.

He also developed an entrepreneurial project in Home Décor through his venture and was a mentor in WomenWinWin-Connecting Women and Business. 
Richard Fleming
He has an MBA from The Lisbon MBA Nova/Católica (2011) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Pedagogy from the University of Cambridge (2005). He is currently the Director of the British Council Portugal.

He was the Director of Programs in Executive Education at Nova SBE for 10 years. He was also responsible for launching and managing a variety of entrepreneurial projects in the field of education, including training schools, international congresses, and other major events.
Jorge Velosa
Degree in Digital Marketing from Harvard Business School (2011), an MBA from Universidade Nova de Lisboa (1988), and a degree in Management from Universidade Livre (1983).

He teaches Marketing and Sales at Nova SBE and is Owner Manager at Skipper Managemen. He has also held senior positions in several leading companies, namely as Managing Director of Vileda Ibérica Portugal, Henkel Ibérica Portugal, and President of Sara Lee Household & Body Care Italy.
